India launched Operation Sindor: Launched a strategic response to terrorism In the early hours of May 7, 2025, India launched "Operation Sindoor", which was a series of accurate aerial attacks targeting nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Prasadit Kashmir. Strategic goal and execution The Indian Air Force (IAF) deployed the scalp missiles and Rafale fighter jets equipped with AASM hammer bomb to carry out the strike. The targeted places included Bahawalpur, Muridke, Sialkot, Kotli, Muzaffarabad and Bhimber. These sites were identified as a hub for late and gem -related terrorist activities and training camps. The operation lasted for about 23 minutes and was described by Indian authorities as "focus, measured and non-escleratory", targeting the terrorist infrastructure only without targeting Pakistani military establishments.
